PRC is becoming a large manufacturer in the global woodworking machinery arena. By implementing international advanced manufacturing standards, Chinese woodworking machinery are more competitive than before. As China¡¯s market leader, we plan to seize the opportunity to explore international markets, at the same time, further entrenching our domestic leadership position.
In the coming three years we have plans to cooperate with Northeast Forestry University, Nanjing Forestry University, Beijing Forestry Machinery Research Institute to develop a series of high-end digit controlled woodworking machinery as well as the development of special natural resource saving material processing to compete more effectively in the international markets. We also plan to self-develop lathes for classified wood furniture, such as facility for dining furniture processing and for European window processing to meet various demands.
Leveraging on our reputation and performance in domestic market, we aim to further extend our foreign market presence by appointing excellent agents and dealers, enhancing international alliance and cooperation, and improving our dealer management system.
Taking advantage of our low costs and high product quality, some of our woodworking machinery products, such as planer series, precision sliding table panel saw series, and certain CNC series have been largely accepted by foreign market. We target to be one of the market leaders in international medium-sized and small-scale woodwork machinery market. We expect that export revenue for 2006 will reach RMB60 million and target at RMB150 million in 2007. Contribution of export to total revenue is targeted to be over 50% from 2008 onwards.
